Feel like you’re too short or at least want to grow taller than your mom, then continue reading on, for I have listed seven ways for you to grow taller in no time.

1) Eat Properly

Getting the right about of vitamins and nutrients for your body is crucial to growing taller.

Like fish, chicken, and eggs for proper balance of proteins. Also drinking at least 8 cups of water per day can help increase your height as well, to maintain a healthy growing body. 

2) Calcium and Vitamin D

Getting the right amount of calcium and vitamin D. Like drinking milk. At least one cup should suffice. One brand I recommend for vitamins is L’il Critters Calcium + Vitamin D which I consume myself that is very beneficial to me.

3) Exercise

Doing any kind of sport or exercising in your free time is a great way to stretch your spinal cord, so you can grow taller.

Some examples of exercises you can do are:

  • Jumping Jacks
  • Walking on your toes
  • Touching your toes
  • Cycling
  • Vertical Bar Hanging

4) Yoga

Similar to number 3, yoga is another excellent and successful way to stretch your spine to enable you to increase your height.

Some popular yoga poses to do so are:

  • Pilates Roll Over
  • Cobra Stretch
  • Downward Dog
  • Bridge

5) Genetics

However genetics are also important when considering the maximum height you can grow. It could help to know your family history in height to give you a better perspective when trying to attain a specific height that is realistic.

6) Puberty

Also puberty plays a huge role in your height. Puberty, meaning the change of your body from adolescence to adult. For example, consider growth spurts that tend to occur during puberty.

For boys on average, growth spurts last two years, usually from ages 12 to 15.

For girls on average, growth spurts last about one to two years after their menstruation cycle. This process usually occurs in the ages of 10 to 13.

However, this information is only for the average, you in particular may be very different since no body is the same as someone else’s.

7) Sleep

Surprisingly, getting enough sleep each night is crucial to increase your height. For scientists say that getting at least 8 hours of sleep to allow our body to rest and grow, is the proper and natural way of growing taller.

All in all, no matter what height you may currently or trying to attain, you must not force yourself to reach a goal if it’s not attainable. Don’t ever look down on yourself, for your height is absolutely perfect that way it is.
